Congrats, but don’t book your flight just yet. A job offer doesn’t automatically mean you can legally work in Korea — you’ll usually need the right work visa first, often an E-7 visa depending on your role. Ask the company if they can sponsor your visa and what visa type they’re planning to apply for, since this depends on your job, background, and the company itself. Definitely don’t start working on a tourist visa, because that’s illegal. In a nutshell, expect the visa process to take some time — possibly a few weeks to a few months — before you can actually start working in Korea.
