Does AI make data-analysis content worthless now? Anyone can generate it.
I write data-driven posts but lately it feels pointless — AI can produce a competent data analysis article in seconds. How do you keep that kind of writing worth reading?
You've put your finger on something real, and I felt it too. Straight "here is a dataset, here is what it shows" writing has genuinely been commoditized. AI does it competently and instantly. Competing on that is a losing game. What I found still works: data has to follow a story, not lead it. The posts of mine that land are grounded in something AI can't generate — a place I actually walked through, a platform I actually worked on, a decision I actually got wrong. The data then backs up or complicates that lived experience. AI can analyze a dataset; it can't have stood in that parking lot or sat in that strategy meeting. So the writing isn't dead — the *generic* version is. Lead with the thing only you have, and let the numbers serve it.
